the only probelm with that set up is when a ski turns it goes sideways without resistance. the real way skis turn is by applying pressure to the edge of the ski. its like if i turn the tips of the skis when im skiing to point where i want to go,then i will just be going down the hill in the same direction heading as before, not as well as going straight but it still works. but if i lean then i turn. it was the fail on my first snow bike and thats why the front ski on gt racers have groves so that it channels the snow and allows u to turn. the second concept for my ski bike was i took a dremel and i put a channel down the front ski and layed a piece of metal in it like an ice skate kinda but so it only protruded bout a 1/4" turned great when i turned the bars. just a little hint i figured i would leave since my turning problem took me a while to figure out how to make it actually able to steer well with the handle bars. one other thing i did aswell was putting a riser between the ski and the fork. for that i just used 2*4s to get the height i wanted to make it ride more like the geo of a dj bike

pretty sick but u might wanna take the rubber bushings out of the trucks and replace them with metal so that u can lean and turn. also for the foot pegs pvc pipe works well because u can put bolts into it for traction on your foot wich u relly need with the wet boots
